Story
By sponsoring UJIA Women on their trek across the Peak District on International Womens Day, you are supporting women in vulnerable communities, investing in the Al Sanabel catering & social impact project, & providing women on the fringes of society with training & employment opportunities. Al Sanabel make nutritional and healthy school meals for disadvantaged school children. Originally established to provide employment for women in the Negev Bedouin community of Hura, UJIA was instrumental in helping Al Sanabel to expand, by supporting a second catering facility in the Jewish area of Migdal HaEmek in the north of Israel, working with disadvantaged orthodox Jewish women. The staff cook a hot meal for around 3,000 school children a day who live below the poverty line. This is their only opportunity to have a hot meal. Your donations are a social investment, meaning that all profits raised are reinvested in the business or the local community. Thank you for supporting UJIA Women.
