We are taking on a Marvellous Challenge and aiming to swim the distance of the English channel!

Hello I am Vicky, I am 22. We are swimming for Mencap to raise money for people with learning disabilities, so that they can give people more opportunities like they have offered me. Mencap have given me a place on a supported internship programmme so that I can learn all skills needed to work as a technician in a theatre. Hopefully this will lead to paid work for me in the future.

I’m swimming as part of the magnificent whales. Although I’m the youngest and the slimmest so I’m the dolphin 🐬 of the group. 😜
