MAD Boys End to End Challenge - MAD represents Martin, Andrew, Dylan

Raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association

£8,971
raised of £5,000 target
We fund care, campaigning and research to achieve a world free from MND

Story

In 2006, four cyclists, Bryan Jones, Martin Mackintosh, Dylan Harries and Graham Aveyard embarked on a 500 mile cycle ride around Wales in aid of Charity. It was certainly a memorable and enjoyable event and something we would all have liked to repeat at some stage. Sadly, Bryan passed away in 2020 from Motor Neurone Disease. Andrew Rees will now join forces with Dylan and Martin to cycle the 1000 mile trip from Lands End to John O'Groats in Bryan's memory and to raise much needed funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. We will leave Land’s End on 6th September and plan to reach John O’Groats in 13 days

Motor Neurone Disease is a charity that is also close to the heart of both Martin and Dylan, with both Martin's father, John Mackintosh and Dylan's father in law, John Fury having suffered from Motor Neurone Disease. We also remember Dyfrig George, a close family connection with Dylan who sadly passed away from Motor Neurone Disease in 2015.

We will be supported on the ride by Michelle and Caerie, Dylan and Martin's other halves who will be in charge of all matters concerning our well being and hopefully some leg massages along the way!!

We are self funding the whole cost of this challenge so every penny raised will passed on the the MNDA

Hope you can support us with a financial donation through this page. Any amount will be greatly appreciated
