Story
I've just qualified from my PGCE and want to put some of my time to good use before I start at my new school in September.
Therefore, I am aiming to *virtually* cycle, run and flail my body from Lands End to John O' Groats in 50 days. It might seem like a long time, but with a total distance of 1744.2km, it averages out that I'll need to travel 35km every day for those 50 days!! This will be a challenge for me since I am lazy at the moment.
I am raising money for 2 fantastic charities that you can choose to donate to:-
Stop Hate UK: One of the leading national organisations working to challenge all forms of Hate Crime and discrimination, based on any aspect of an individual’s identity. Stop Hate UK provides independent, confidential and accessible reporting and support for victims and witnesses.
Runnymede Trust: The UK's leading independent race equality think tank. They generate intelligence to challenge race inequality in Britain through research, network building, leading debate, and policy engagement.
These charities are important to me because they help support and educate children and young people - Stop Hate UK helps people who are victims of abuse and Runnymede influences education policies and aims to diversify the school curriculum. I want to see some positive change in the world and shaking up UK policy, alongside immediate support for victims of hate crime, seem like beneficial focus areas.
Any donation you could make to either of these charities would be amazing!! Thanks for visiting my page :D

Disclaimer: I will mainly be cycling (as it's the quickest way for me to complete this challenge) but I will also convert cardio gym classes into kilometers. A 30 minute cardio class = 5km and a 1 hour cardio class = 10km.
