Story

Hi Thanks for looking at our page.

Lesley and Lily are joining the trek to the Sahara in November.

My name is Lesley and I am the Bereavement and Counselling Co-ordinator and have been part of the counselling team at the hospice for almost 20 years. I would like to tell you a little more about us and our role within the wider hospice team. As a team we provide emotional and psychological support to patient’s supported by the hospice, their family and friends. Our counsellors are experienced in working with those diagnosed with a palliative illness and families facing the loss of a loved one, or already bereaved. During my time at the hospice, I have met many individuals and families facing one of the most challenging and difficult journeys and it has been a privilege to be part of that. I have decided to take on this challenge as it is our 30 year anniversary next year and I am pleased to say that Lily will be joining me. We will be helping to raise funds so that our wonderful staff and volunteers can continue to be here for those communities that access our services form both Royal Greenwich and Bexley.

Please support us if you can and make contact if you would like any further information.

Thanks again
