Story

As you may know on Mon 29th July 2024 we lost my wife Louise and Mum to Jack to secondary breast cancer. Whilst Louise was being cared for by the nurses and consultants in her final days at Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, Oxenhope I spoke to her about their annual sponsored walk called the Sue Ryder Starlight Hike Worth Valley - Sat 12th October 2024. I explained to Louise that myself, Jack and her Dad (Terence) would love to take part in this 10k walk in her name to raise money for this fantastic charity. Louise was so pleased about the idea that after she passed I set up an online sponsorship page called Team Louise Newiss. If you would like to help and you’re happy to donate to our cause please use the below link. https://www.justgiving.com/team/louisenewiss?utm_medium=team&utm_content=team%2Flouisenewiss&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=pfp-share. Since we signed up online we’ve had additional friends and family of Louise who have also signed up and will be joining Team Louise Newiss on the walk. Many thanks for your support in advance 🙂 x
