The photo below shows the ” Last Of The Summer Wine” team (standing from left to right), Steve Bull, Tim Barbary, Bob McGhee and Paul Bousfield at his 60th birthday bash.

Despite really serious arguments about which way round to hold the map, whose turn it was to pay at the bar and who tells the most boring stories, the team has stuck together through thick and thin However, never before have we spent eight consecutive days together which will no doubt test that bond to distruction.

Originally all four of us lived in the same village near Newark until Paul finally lost his resolve and moved away in summer 2021. Thankfully the team continued to meet together in order to aimlessly wander about the countryside, repeat the same old jokes and squabble

Paul had been the linchpin of the group even though his navigating regularly had us walking in circles as if if a wheel had fallen off. We will miss him greatly but he has left us with so many wonderful memories and a challenge to accomplish!
