We put on inclusive sporting events to break down barriers that exist in sport

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As part of charity Power2Inspire's 108 Challenge, freemasons from London Lodge No.108 intend to trek 108km over the weekend of 10/8 - 11/8 2024

Two groups will start 108km apart on the Thames Path national trail each walking their part along the river to meet up at the midway point on Sunday evening at Hampton Court. We ask friends and families to join us en route and give their financial support if they feel able.

Power2Inspire is an inclusivity-through-sport charity which has a vision of a world where ‘No one is left on the bench’ and with a mission of embedding inclusive sport in the sporting, education, and community landscapes. Please visit their webpage www.power2inspire.org.uk and read up about the 108 Challenge

From the east, one party will start at the Thames Barrier and walk the riverside through London over the next 2 days. From the west, the other party will start from Marlow, pass through Windsor and on to Hampton Court, where 54km later the group will be whole again, having completed their part in meeting the 108 challenge.

At Power2Inspire, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in sport, regardless of body type, age, disability, or ethnicity. So we have created inclusive sporting events, where we deliver adapted sports in schools, organisations, and in local community centres.
