Story
The team will be completing the National Three Peaks Challenge
The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England, and Wales, over the course of 1 weekend.
The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft) - twice the ascent of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, over a similar total walking distance.
We will be doing this challenge in July, starting at 4am on the 18th and returning on the 21st of July.
We are looking to raise 10K to be split equally with our 2 chosen charities:
• Great Ormond Street supporting the hundreds of children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day and for children with rare or complex diseases everywhere. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness, we will be requesting these funds support their One Last Wish campaign.
• BAND of BUILDERS Band of Builders is the National Construction Charity providing support to members of the UK construction industry facing life changing or limiting circumstances. They deliver life enhancing projects, as well as financial and emotional support for tradespeople and their families across the UK who are dealing with life’s most challenging circumstances.
