Burns and scalds are amongst the most harrowing and painfully injury that can happen to anyone . And they can leave lifelong scars. We support and organise events and activities that bring together children , their families and young adults from birth up to the age of 25 following the trauma of a burn injury.

About time I put my daft enthusiasm and determination towards a good cause!!!

For the 5th time in recent years I intend on doing something I enjoy very much so and that's tackling Pen Y ghent... Only this time with a little bit of a difference.

This time I'm going to do it wearing woman's heels!!!!! 👠👠👠

I am doing this in order to gain attention, awareness and donations for 2 charities very close to my heart.

Firstly the family burns club in Wakefield. This club helps support many innocent children and young adults in their recovery after having life changing injuries through being severely burned.

Only a select amount of people know that around 15 years ago I gave myself a severe burn on my leg setting myself on fire in a stupid drunken moment fire breathing at a New Year's party. I got lucky. I just missed my sweet spots (use your imagination) but there is always a 1 foot long scar to remind me of my absolute dumbfounded foolishness. There was another moment that imprints on my mind and that's the reason why I want to raise money for this amazing cause. As I was being wheeled through to be treated, the amount of little kids there with burns all over them. Innocent little children, that had done nothing wrong and through no fault of their own to be in the position they were in.... Then me. Stupid drunken fool wasting people's time due to an idiotic moment. If any of you have seen the film shallow Hal there's a part with the little girl Kadence in it where he sees her in her true beauty and again in the cold hard light of reality that brings me close to tears each and every time I see it because I can relate so much to it.

I felt so small seeing these children the way they were and it's this reason as well as seeing all the hard work done by the staff looking after them that I would like to raise as many donations as possible to help their amazing cause 🙏🙏🙏
