Our darling Lizzie has been heroically going through a myriad of cancer treatments since August 2023… she is a hero! It has been quite the journey, through surgery, chemo, radio and all sorts of appointments in between, along with three small children under five.

In support of her and celebration of her courage and characteristic positivity throughout, we are hiking a half marathon distance in the Lake District in June! Our team includes

MacMillan have been a great support to her throughout and so we together are keen to give back and raise money for other people also going through cancer treatment.

We have each pledged to raise £250 and would appreciate any support in reaching this. By fundraising this pledge, we could each pay for a Macmillan Support Worker for two days who could provide emotional, practical and financial advice to someone affected by cancer.
