Story

We are a squad of elite athletes who were looking to set a new UK record for the London to Brighton bike ride on 11th September 2022.

However, funding cuts have meant the entire team have had to take full time positions within Lister Wilder – a lovely friendly family business that sells and supports the Kubota range of Agricultural, Groundcare and Construction machinery across Central Southern England.

To say this has had an impact on our training regime would be something of an understatement. The long hours spent looking after our wonderful customers mean that saddle time has been low…very, very low indeed😊

Indeed its caused something of a rethink. So coupled with the love of our newfound careers within the Sales, Parts, Service and Admin teams, we’ve decided to forget our hopes of entering the Guinness book of records and we will now focus on having fun and raising as much money for charity as possible…and this is where you come in 😊

It would be amazing if you could make a small (or not so small) donation to our just giving page as we look to raise as much money as possible for Leukaemia & Myeloma research UK – a charity who are focused on developing treatments for blood cancer.

With cancer effecting 1 in 2 of us over our lifetimes, its perhaps little surprise that every one of us will be riding with friends, family and colleagues at the forefront of our minds…those who survived and others whose memories live on. Your help in supporting the ride would be appreciated enormously so thank you for taking the time to reading this post.
