We have decided to sign up for the second time in a row to take part in the Worthing RunFest 10K after enjoying running the Worthing RunFest 10K back in 2023.

We have been training and running every Saturday in our local Parkrun and our aim is to enjoy the race, have fun and why not, improve our time ;))

We will be supporting Turning Tides which is a local charity helping homeless situation.

The number of people facing homelessness and coming to Turning Tides for support has doubled in recent months. We are taking on a challenge this year to help raise funds for people in our community with no safe place to call home.

Offering practical support, advice and routes into housing their community hubs are life saving, they are a place where someone can access wash facilities, have a good meal and get some advice from someone who can help.

Turning Tides believe that community is the solution and their work couldn't happen with their amazing supporters. No matter how much you can donate you will be helping to make a real difference in your community.

- £20 – Emergency food pack for 1 week, 1 week of hot showers/breakfast at a Hub

- £50 – One 2 hour outreach session or one emergency pack (sleeping bag/tent and food) for someone rough sleeping.

- £100 – A week of breakfasts and showers at the Hub for 5 people or 5 emergency food packs for someone rough sleeping.
