Story

Thanks for visiting our page!

We’re doing this for our Dads.

Sarah’s Dad has Alzheimer’s and Lisa’s has Dementia with Lewys bodies. Both our Dads are amazing, strong fathers to us and seeing them suffer is cruel so we want to do something that might help someone else going through this or one day even prevent it. Covid has made it even tougher as they’ve lost regular contact with friends and family which is so crucial for people with Dementia and we’ve missed precious times together.

We met through our second babies just after both our Dads had been diagnosed and have been going through this tough journey together for 2 years.

50 miles in 30 days is going to be a real challenge, especially as it’s getting colder and wetter! We’re going to do the final leg together for our Dads!

If you’re able to donate anything to this amazing charity that provides incredible support and research for one of the most difficult diseases, we’ll be hugely appreciative and it will give us the motivation we need to keep running everyday.

Thanks so much!

Lisa and Sarah xx
