Story
Thank you for visiting our page. We will be running the London marathon for Sarcoma UK in memory of Lily-Rose Bury-Dowdeswell.
Lily was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in November 2019. Following two years of treatment, Lily passed away in December 2021. Lily is much loved, and deeply missed by all her family and friends.
Any donations in memory of Lily are much appreciated. Hopefully this can help others who are facing a sarcoma diagnosis.
We've chosen to run the London Marathon for Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer, and campaigns for better treatments.
Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting us, we can help change this. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep the specialist Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care. Your donations will go far in helping the sarcoma community, thank you.
