Big Battlefield Bike Ride 2023 - Dunkirk
Campaign by Help for Heroes (RCN 1120920 (England & Wales) and SC044984 (Scotland))
Our exciting 5 day cycle challenge takes us from Étretat through Northern France to Dunkirk. For over a decade, our charity bike ride has used pedal-power to raise vital funds to give strength to wounded veterans and their families.

Story

We help veterans, and those still serving, by providing physical, psychological, financial and welfare support for as long as they need it. We also support families, because they too can be affected by their loved ones wounds.

We receive almost no Government funding, which means we rely on the spirit and generosity of the UK public, our partners and volunteers to keep going. We have already supported more than 27,000 people and wont stop until every wounded veteran gets the support they deserve.

Our BBBR Dunkirk route follows in the footsteps of the British Expeditionary Force and tells the story of Operation Dynamo, when more than 338,000 troops were evacuated from Dunkirk in June 1940.

For over a decade, our charity bike ride has used pedal-power to raise vital funds to give strength to wounded veterans and their families.
