We support young people at risk of suicide to stay safe and find hope in times of need

Story

On 27th August 2024 Max Turton died by suicide, thinking that was the only way.

On 2nd February 2025 Max would have celebrated his 17th birthday. To mark this day some of Max’s family and friends will be taking part in an abseil at Anfield, the home of Max’s beloved football team Liverpool FC. All funds raised will continue to support Papyrus

Chris and Kate have been supporting the charity Papyrus - Prevention of Young Suicide, to campaign, educate and support this awareness.

PAPYRUS is the national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people in the UK, every year over 1800 young people took their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.

Every £10 raised can contribute towards a life-saving contact to HOPELINE247. Your donations really are changing lives, thank you!
