Mouth cancer is the 6th most common cancer worldwide. In the UK there are around 7700 cases each year. The incidence rate of the disease continues to rise and is projected to do so over the next 20 years by 33%.

In 2024 my mother was highlighted as having indicators of mouth cancer. Thankfully after operations to remove the cells, she was given the all clear.

My sister and I are raising funds for Let's Talk About Mouth Cancer to highlight the causes and signs of the disease and how you can spot them, including always keeping your 6 monthly dental check ups.
