Raising money for The National Brain Appeal

£1,440

Raising crucial funds to tackle brain cancer.

Story

on the 25th of February at 5pm, our beautiful dad took his last breath.

He fought so hard the last 6 months and we hoped and prayed for a different outcome 💔

This walk is in memory and honour of our beloved dad, these funds are crucial so no other families ever have to go through what we have as a family, please help us help others who are already diagnosed or will in the future ❤️

This charity is close to our families hearts ❤️

Our lovely, active, kind dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme in August 2024.

He has undergone surgery to remove 95% of the tumour and is now following NHS standard of care treatment.

He is an absolute inspiration and has had so many hurdles throughout this journey, but still shows up and gets it done 💪🏻

The prognosis for this type of cancer is currently 12-18 months due to the lack of treatment options that are available.

Currently only 1% of funding goes towards research in brain cancer and we NEED this to change.

We will be walking from Wickersley to Weston Park Hospital and would like to raise as much as possible in efforts to further advance the treatment options available 🔬

We are collating a list of volunteers - let us know if you’re up for it 💪🏻

Saturday 28th June - 9am start 🚶‍♀️

Help us do our bit, make the difference and BEAT CANCER 🤛

Thank you all for your words of encouragement and generous donations ❤️ Please share! ⭐
