Story
After successfully completing a half marathon Paul and I have decided to continue our fundraising efforts and run the London Marathon for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
We are so so grateful for the support we all received when our 14 year old daughter was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma in September 2023. Our support worker, Jen, offered our daughter some form of normality when she felt like her whole world was falling apart. We can honestly not thank them enough so London here we come!!
Cancer doesn’t just devastate their health. It threatens to take away everything they care about – their identity, their independence, and their dreams.
Teenage Cancer Trust funds specialist nurses, youth support teams and hospital units within the NHS to provide the very best care and support during treatment and beyond, making sure cancer doesn’t stop young people living their lives.
They’re the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need.
