Story
We are going to Abseil 170ft from the top of the Trafford Centre Palazzo Roof 😬😬.
I managed to talk Heather into this, although we are more likely to fall haphazardly from the top than have a graceful SAS style descent. The fact that we are prepared to do something so ludicrous shows how much we want to support Sepsis Research as they fund research into better treatments and support for those affected by Sepsis.
Our team has now grown to include my youngest daughter Leah, my good friend Ste and his daughter Freya.
This is a cause very close to all of our hearts as Lauren, my daughter and Leah's big sister, died from Sepsis aged just 13 years old in 2019.
Please support us to raise money for Sepsis Research. 1 in 5 people die every single hour in the UK from Sepsis and over 60'000 a year are left with life altering injuries..... just the price of a pint could make all the difference to future survival rates.
Please be aware of some of the main symptoms of Sepsis. Very High or Low Temperature, Uncontrolled Shivering, Confusion, Passing Less Urine than Normal, Blotchy or Cold Arms and Legs. Fast action can save lives.
The team so far:-
Sarah Menzies, Heather Wolstenholme, Ste Hodgson, Leah Menzies, Freya Hodgson.
