Update, 12 July!

Like many of us living in lockdown over the past few months, I really need a haircut. Fortunately, I've got an appointment booked for Weds 8 July. And...

I've decided to get it all chopped off and donate it!

Quick, before I change my mind – please consider sponsoring my impending light-headedness.

Anything you can spare will be most gratefully received, however large or small.

I'm raising money for three causes.

You can choose which charity you'd like to support by clicking on its name below:

1. The Little Princess Trust, who provide free, real hair wigs to children who have lost their hair to cancer or another condition.

2. RefugeeEd, an organisation I volunteer with in Greece, who work with local organisations and teachers to ensure that children and adults fleeing violence have access to a good education.

3. Black Minds Matter UK, a charity whose funds are used to pay for therapy, resources and better mental health provision for the black community in the UK. According to the Mental Health Foundation, black and minority ethnic groups living in the UK are more likely to be diagnosed with mental health problems and more likely to experience a poor outcome from treatment.

I'm hoping to raise £1000 in total, shared across these three charities.

Two last important things:

1. Unfortunately, Justgiving doesn't allow you to make a single donation that goes to all three charities. So you'll just have to choose one!

2. It's a bit confusing that all three 'donate' options below show my face and name, but not the charity! So please use the direct links in the list above to donate to a specific charity.
