Event: Lake District Mighty Hike 2024 - half marathon, on 16 June 2024
We're hiking a half or full marathon in the stunning Lake District in June 2024 to raise vital funds for people living with cancer.

Story

In June 2024, Jeremy Langmead and Sarah Edmundson are both taking on a Mighty Hike in the Lake District to raise money for people living with cancer. Despite having cancer ourselves, we feel pretty fortunate and so want to help others who don’t, or can’t, feel the same.

We have called the team How Long Have You Got? It’s the name of a podcast we are launching this month that looks at the highs, lows and lols of dealing with cancer (in our cases recurrent prostate and secondary breast cancers) and to share some experiences and tips we help others will find useful.

Some amazing friends of ours are joining us on the hike to support and to help raise even more money for MacMillan.

We have pledged to raise at least £1000 and would appreciate any support in reaching this.
