Lost Hours Walk 2022 · 1 October 2022 to 31 October 2022 ·

It's time to unite against suicide. 125 people take their own lives every week in the UK. That's not ok. This October, we're taking to the streets across the UK to walk against suicide.

Story

125 people die by suicide in the UK every week. That's not okay. That's why this October, we're taking part in CALMs Lost Hours Walk, to join people across the country in smashing the silence around suicide. The money we raise will be going towards CALM's life-saving services, so they can be there for anyone struggling, no matter what. CALM's helpline is available for free, from 5pm to midnight, 365 days a year, for anyone who needs it, on 0800 585858.

Some of us are walking in memory of Thomas or of other loved ones who have died by suicide, and in solidarity with everyone who is struggling. We hope that by walking, we can help other people to know that they are not alone: life is hard sometimes, it's ok to say so, and it's good to ask for help. We need to normalise talking about these things - doing so helps us to feel less alone.
