We made it to Paris after quite an adventure - which included being hit by an badger, stung by a bee, getting lost in Paris and eating some unimaginably delicious choc au pain.

We had a wonderful send-off at the London Eye from three inspirational survivors of ovarian cancer who are dedicated to raising education and awareness of early identification as well as ongoing support.

Lady Adele Sewell, MBE has survived breast cancer (in 1999), is in her 3rd remission for ovarian cancer over a 16 year period and was recently honoured for services to people with ovarian cancer.

Louise Darville was diagnosed with ovarian cancer shortly after her twin sister's diagnosis, and has experienced almost 10 years in remission.

Moreen Lyons has been in remission for the last 4 years, and now swears by home-prepared Turmeric paste, three times a day, to keep the cancer at bay, alongside a healthy diet and exercise She is positive and upbeat for the future.

After such a wonderful send-off from these inspirational survivors failure was simply not an option for us MAMILs. Everything seemed trivial in comparison to what they have been through and how Ovacome has supported them through their highs and lows.
