Raising money for Nottingham University Hospitals Charity

£44,414
raised of £20,000 target

Story

This will be our fourth challenge for this very worthy Charity. We were originally going to do the ride in July 2020, but with the untimely arrival of COVID-19, we took the decision to move the bike ride to July 2021. This will give our team of 38 cyclists the opportunity to get a lot more training done before the mammoth 220 miles cycle. Even with the higher than usual number of miles, we're still doing the ride over 3 days. We will be starting in Bangor, Wales on the Friday morning, and will all be cycling along the Welsh coastline to Chester, skirting around Stoke-on-Trent, heading through Uttoxeter and Derby, and arriving back in Nottinghamshire on the Sunday afternoon.

We're raising money to go towards the purchase of a new Mammography machine for the Nottingham Breast Institute, based at the City Hospital in Nottingham.

Wish us all luck!
