When Aoife was admitted to hospital in March 2022 at three months old we had no idea we would spend the next five weeks on the Freddie Hewitt ward. Through weekends, bank holidays and long nights we saw first hand how hard the NHS staff work to look after everyone in challenging conditions and heartbreaking circumstances. We'd love to contribute in some way to the refurbishment of the childrens wards at St Georges to make them a safe, welcoming and comfortable environment for parents, families and those who work there.
