Story

King's Feet are a small group of friends who met many years ago (not telling how many) at King's College Cambridge. Still friends after all these years, we have seen the effects of Alzheimer's. Jackie's mum and father-in-law, and Mike's mother and grandmother suffered from it and we all have friends who have been affected. As we enjoy walking and particularly coastal walking, it seemed like a good idea to fund-raise for Alzheimer's by joining this wonderful walk together.

The picture shows our actual feet, at the end of our last walk together. We might clean our boots before this challenge (then again, we might not).

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
