Story
We are thrilled to announce that Kinetic are embarking on a gruelling yet ultimately rewarding adventure - the Thames Path Challenge.
On Saturday 9th September, 11 members of the team will set off from Putney Bridge, London, with a shared objective of walking the Thames towpath to Henley-on-Thames. This incredible 100km route along the iconic Thames River is not just an adventure; it's an opportunity for us to continue raising awareness and significantly impacting mental health.
By participating in this challenge, we aim to raise vital funds for Student Minds, an organisation dedicated to supporting and improving the mental well-being of students across the country.
Why Student Minds?
Student Minds is a leading charity that champions mental health support for university students. They provide crucial resources, training, and advocacy to create a supportive environment where students can thrive. Their initiatives empower students to tackle mental health challenges, reduce stigma, and promote wellbeing within academic institutions. By supporting Student Minds, we are contributing to a brighter future for countless students, ensuring they have the support they need during their educational journey. Student Minds provide brilliant and important resources to support students before, during and after their university journey, which gives students the knowledge and reassurance to seek help during their time at university.
Kinetic is dedicated to supporting the higher education sector to deliver software to care for the wellbeing and safety of students during their time at university. We firmly believe in the power of community and the strength that comes from supporting one another. Taking on the Thames Path Challenge demonstrates our dedication to creating real change and raising awareness about mental health issues affecting students.
