Story
Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under the age of 40. We believe that fighting brain tumours on all fronts of research, awareness and support is the only way to save lives, reduce long-term disabilities and to help everyone affected by a brain tumour. We need your help because a cure can't wait.
On the 22nd of March, 2025, I will be participating in the London Twilight Walk with The Brain Tumour Charity. We will set off from Marylebone and stroll through some of London’s most iconic landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and Westminster Abbey.
I am undertaking this walk in loving memory of my son, Khushil. He was a bright and inspiring 14-year-old who courageously faced a rare and aggressive brain tumor called DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma). Despite the immense challenges he faced, Khushil achieved extraordinary milestones. He earned a Duke of Edinburgh Award, excelled academically, and left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
My goal is to raise funds for critical research into DIPG, which currently has no cure, in the hope of sparing other families the heartbreak we have endured.
