Story
A team of Cluster 4 staff and support partners are taking part in a special memory walk, Night to Remember, on Saturday 10 September and we shall be walking through the night in memory of Aslam Mussa. This event is an opportunity for us to come together with others who knew Aslam and share special memories to celebrate his life.
His unexpected passing has been a shock to all who knew and loved him. We all have fond memories of his kind, caring and calm nature. Aslam joined Kingston Hospital in January 2021as Administration Manager to all the medical specialities. In August 2017 Aslam was promoted to Assistant Service Manager and took over the management of the anticoagulation service. He worked tirelessly with the clinical and administrative team internally and with our community partners, to improve the experience of our patients. In 2018 Aslam moved to Cluster 4 so he could continue to work with the anticoagulation team to see through exciting service development changes he had started to make.
Although Aslam will forever be in the hearts and minds of everyone who had the pleasure to work with him, a team of Cluster 4 friends and colleagues will be completing the walk. As we walk through the night, we will reflect on our memories, with no doubt laughter and tears, but we hope to raise money to purchase specialist clinical equipment in his name.
This page has been set up for anyone wishing to make a donation. Thank you for helping us to honour his memory in this way.
