Event: Moonlit Memories Walk & Run, on 18 June 2022
Moonlit Memories is a sponsored walk or run, taking in many of the historical landmarks of Old Portsmouth and Southsea in the moonlight, which supports local Hospice care.

Story

This charity is very close to our hearts as our colleague Stuart passed away as a result of a brain tumour. Stuart worked for Stride Ltd/Mi Property throughout his whole career and was a very much loved colleague and very sadly missed.

The Rowan’s helped Stuart and his family and this is why we do our best to keep raising money for this great cause.

Jenna and I are both looking forward to our 10 mile evening challenge.

Rowans Hospice Charity provides free care and support to adults in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire who have a life-limiting illness, and their families. This event is an opportunity for our local community to come together for a fun evening to generate income for the Charity as well as an opportunity to celebrate the life of a loved one.

Participants will complete their walk or run under the stars, taking in some of the most historic sites around Old Portsmouth and Southsea, on Saturday, 18 June 2022.

The Charity's reliance on voluntary donations remains critical in the aftermath of the COVID-19 Pandemic and we are calling upon the local community for help to raise vital and much-needed income by raising £100 (each/per family) in sponsorship if they are able to. All income generated through the Moonlit Memories Event will support the future of Rowans Hospice Charity.
