34k Challenge 2023
Campaign by Suicide&Co (RCN 1187985)
The estimated number of people directly bereaved by suicide each year is around 34,000. Were looking for 34 people to take on the 34K Challenge; 34km on September 10th, each with a fundraising target of £1000, so that together we can raise £34,000!

Story

I lost my mum to suicide in November 2022 after the death of my dad from pancreatic cancer in September. She felt there was no option and I feel very strongly that there should be no stigma around the way in which she died. But I do want to ensure all those suffering with their mental health and all those impacted by the suicide of loved ones are able to get the support they need to enjoy life again.

Stella, Ben and I are taking on the 34k Challenge, walking 34km on Sunday 10th September (approx. 9 hours, although maybe less at Stella's route-march pace) for Suicide&Co. Our fundraising target is £1000, to contribute to a total target of £34,000 to help Suicide&Co. continue to achieve their mission of supporting individuals bereaved by suicide.

We would be grateful if you can give what you can,

Lottie, Ben & Stella xx
