Story
In memory of Julia Chesters
Julia died of sarcoidosis, an inflammatory disease in which the immune system overreacts, causing groups of cells to form clusters of inflamed tissue called "granulomas" in one or more organs of the body. She didn’t know she had this disease It is so rare to cause a sudden death that it is difficult for her family to come to terms with the fact that this was the cause of death.
Julia had a love of lots of activities and charities. Her family have chosen 3 with Just Giving, which were close to Julia’s heart, to support in memory of her death.
Firstly, Julia had been a huge supporter of the RSPB for a long time, sharing her interest in birds with her mum - they often went bird watching together when visiting each other.
2. As everyone who met Julia would know, Julia loved cats, having rescued a number over her adult life. So we have chosen the Cats Protection League to reflect her love of cats regardless of age.
Julia also volunteered at Wrest Park, near to her home, aand really enjoyed helping out there. Its not possible to donate just to Wreat Park so we have selected English Heritage as the last charity for support.
£423 was raised following Julia’s funeral which we have split equally between the above 3 charities.
To choose which charity to support we’re sorry but you have to go into each before you can see what they are. In order they are RSPB, Cats Protection first and then English Heritage We hope to raise equally for them all.
