4Ed supports individuals and families in Gloucestershire who are living with MND and the financial pressures it brings. We achieve this through offering financial and psychological support to help mitigate the effects of the disease.

Story

In July 2022 Gloucester Rugby player Ed Slater announced his diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and thus the 4Ed campaign was created to raise awareness and funds in support of Ed and his family’s battle with the disease. What followed was an outpouring of support, generosity, and kindness from the rugby family across the globe.

By supporting this fundraiser you will be directly helping hundreds of families living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in Gloucestershire to access urgent financial and psychological support from the Gloucester Rugby Foundation, allowing them to concentrate on the important things without the new pressures in front of them.

Thank you for your kindness in raising awareness and funds 4Ed and the families of Gloucestershire.

A group of 10 friends will endeavour to walk the length of Hadrian’s Wall totalling 84 miles.

All money raised will go to support this very worthwhile cause.
