Story

“My husband John McShane died at home from Cancer on 2 June 2019. It was John's wish to die at home. The Marie Curie nurses were our Angels of the night. They came out at night to administer additional pain relief and we had nurses who stayed overnight on 4 occasions to allow me to have some sleep. The Marie Curie nurses are amazing human beings. Thank you to all those Marie Curie nurses in the Antrim area who were there to support us during John's illness and death“

This is our second year of part taking in the Twilight walk. With such a success last year, we raised over £2500, we were the second largest group to walk and we were in the top 3% for most money raised on just giving, that was out of 71,000 contributors!! We all really did John, Marie Curie and ourselves proud!

Let‘s do it all again. Walk locally, wherever you are. Do your own distance. Film yoursevlves and light your way! Walk location if people want to meet will be decided at a later date
