We're celebrating the life of John Innes, husband to the late Jackie (nee O'Brien), dad to Craig and Scott, grandad to Skye, Rory and Euan, brother to Hughie and the late Margaret, father-in-law to Kirsty and Tracy, one half of the Innes Bros champion pigeon racing team and proprietor of Kingston Stationers. Sadly John died on 1 August 2023, following a short battle with cancer and a longer battle with Alzheimer's disease (a form of dementia).

The family is raising money for two charities in his memory:

- The Prestonfield and District Neighbourhood Workers Project who went above and beyond in their support for John and his family in recent times.

- Alzheimer Scotland a charity whose dementia link worker and helpline was also a huge support to the family in the last few years.
