We first ran with Emily in a wheelchair in Portsmouth Great South Run, 2008. Now we are running for her and Disability Rights UK in this year's London Marathon. She is our own heroic battler. It's an epic effort for two aging men, but nothing compared to the daily struggle for Emily and others with disabilities in a system and society that support them much more. Dan has been amazing as a Dad and author and campaigner - His comic stories of the Department of Ability are just one way his constant positivity can and does make difference. This run is another effort to help others. Please support these longstanding friends raise money for the cause and hopefully we'll be still be standing at the end - which not everyone finds easy or able to.
