As it approaches 10 years since the wonderful Peter Herrington left us we felt it was important to do something to mark this occasion. When this trek was advertised we thought it was a perfect opportunity to raise money for a wonderful charity that helped Pete in the final months of his life.

This trek is going to be quite a challenge both physically and mentally (and hygienically!) We will be trekking through the Sahara for four days sleeping in tents or under the stars. There will be no washing facilities and we will be walking through sand, dried river beds, over sand dunes and navigating rocky terrain all in the blistering heat.

We like a challenge and we know that Pete will be up there cheering us on.
