Story

We are running the Great North Run in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance, this is in memory of George Cole, a family member of Jo’s who left us far too early at the age of 19. His Mum has chosen the air ambulance , as their local service ( Essex and Harts) was able to assist George long enough that he could be transferred to hospital, there his parents had to make the very difficult decision to let him go, however because of the intervention of the air ambulance a miracle occurred as George’s Kidneys were donated. This made a difference to the lives of two other people, giving them more time to live life and make memories with their loved ones this would not have been possible if the air ambulance had not assisted George, such a valuable service nationally that relies totally on fundraising please help give what ever you can - thank you
