We are fundraising for Housing Justice and The Trussell Trust. These organisations have both been at the forefront of responding to need during the pandemic. We therefore want to support the incredibly important work they have been doing.

We are going to be limiting our food and drink budget to 5 pounds for 5 days and giving the difference to these charities. We are hoping to raise 1000 pounds in total (500 pounds for each charity), if you would like to support us/sponsor us during our fundraiser then please do donate and help us reach this goal. Housing Justice support and represent almost 2000 church and community groups who come together to form 170 night shelters across the country. They were also instrumental in the Everybody In Scheme at the beginning of the lockdown. The money donated to Housing Justice will go towards their Night Shelter Network which will provide guidance and support for Night Shelters and community groups with their efforts to combat homelessness in the local area.

The Trussell Trust provide emergency food parcels and have also encountered a drastic increase in need during the pandemic. We are raising money for The Trussell Trust as they help food banks to provide practical support to people in crisis & campaign for a UK without the need for food banks.
