We are taking part in Trek26 London, on May 17th 2025- it’s a 26 mile trek around London.

We are doing this in memory of our hero, our wonderful Dad, Jim Taylor. We lost him in January 2022, although with Alzheimer’s being how it is, we felt like we lost him more than once since his diagnosis in 2016.

Dad was an absolute joy, so funny, so caring, and always the life and soul of any event. The toll this disease took on him was devastating, and seeing his sparkle fade was something we will sadly never forget.

Alzheimer’s society are an incredible charity, and they reached out to us when we lost Dad, to send condolences and offer support. We will always want to provide them with help as a way of saying thanks, and to help them fund their vital research, so that in the future, families won’t have to suffer the same heartbreak that we and many others have.
