I wouldn’t describe myself as a runner, and neither would anybody who knows me! However, last year I watched my 21-year-old son complete the London marathon, and the atmosphere was amazing. When the opportunity came around to enter for 2025 I thought I would give it a go and use the opportunity to try and raise some money for 2 of the NHS charities that support the Trust I work at.

Last time I ran a marathon I was 16-years-old. The training is harder this time round as I turn 60 this year, but I am determined to cross the finish line, and am almost there. Now I need your support please…
