Kiltwalk 2024
Campaign by Bowel Cancer UK (RCN 1071038)
The Kiltwalk is Scotland's largest mass participation walking event, with four different locations and different distances to complete on offer. All ages welcome - even your favourite furry companions can join you along the route.

Story

On the 16th September 2023, Jamie sadly lost his incredibly brave 10 month battle with bowel cancer leaving a huge hole in all of our lives.

Myself and members of his family are getting together as a team to remember him one year on in Edinburgh, on the15th September 2024 and taking part in the Kilt Walk! Jamie was hugely proud of his Scottish roots so this seemed a perfect way to pay tribute whilst continuing to campaign about awareness of this cruel disease and raise some more vital funds for the charity.

A few of us will be doing the Big Stroll which is 11 miles and then the two youngest members of the team, Ollie and Calum (both will be just 8!) will be doing the 'wee wander' which is 5 miles, along with Jamie's cousin, Calum's dad, Brian.

If anyone would like to join us and take part with us, just let me know and I can get you signed up to the team - JFDI for Jamie :-)
