Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page in memory of my best friend Loren Stokes. Jen's 40 Runs is all about me turning 40 and wanting to raise money for my beautiful best friend who peacefully lost her long and challenging fight to a rare form of cancer on Thursday 6th March 2025.

Jen's 40 Runs 4 Loren Challenge

Loren was diagnosed with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma in 2019. She underwent major surgery to remove a large tumour in her throat which completely changed her life. The biggest life change for Loren was learning to talk again by pressing a button on her neck.

Loren has battled on year after year for six years since her surgery. She has completed radiotherapy and intense chemotherapy, she will do anything if it means there might be an improvement to her life. She really is an absolute warrior. It was heart-breaking that her cancer returned and became terminal.

Loren had the most incredible inner strength to keep fighting every day for herself, her son, her fiancé and her family & friends.

I am raising money for two amazing charities which are close to Loren's heart as they specialise in rare forms of cancer like Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma.

My name is Jenna. I am married and a mum to two beautiful boys. I turned 40 in May 2024 and I felt it was time to achieve something in my life. I completely changed my lifestyle and slowly but surely, I started my running journey.

My challenge is to run 40 events across the UK to raise money for my life long best friend, Loren Stokes who was very poorly fighting ACC, an extremely rare form of cancer. Loren is my inspiration, she is that little voice in my head keeping me going! Without her, I'm running backward.

I am motivated by all of your generous donations with all proceeds going straight to Lorens chosen charities to help with life saving research.
