In November 2024, we will be taking on our biggest challenge yet, as we embark on a 5 day trek across the Jordanian desert, to Petra. Covering an average of 10 miles a day across rock strewn terrain and up into the mountains, with temperatures ranging from 0-30 degrees, we'll spend 4 nights camping in the desert as we complete the trek. Neither of us are strangers to long distance walks, but this will take us both totally out of comfort zones, and will be a huge challenge. The terrain, the ascents, the edges, the temperatures, the scorpions, and not to mention the camping.... we'll need to dig deep both physically and mentally to make it to Petra.

We're taking on the challenge to raise funds for the incredible St Catherine's Hospice who do so much for people at the time they need it the most.They provide outstanding care for over 2500 people a year and any support you can give us will help with the much needed motivation over the next year as we drag ourselves out on early morning and wet weekend training walks
