Story

AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill JustGiving Campaign

Hi, Im Jeanette, 56 years young and I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) 10 years ago at the age of 46. MS has no cure and plays havoc on your body, mental health, and your life. I see myself as quite fortunate because I am still mobile and independent with the support of aids, support networks and the wonderful therapist and staff at Compass.

I was shown a video clip by my physiotherapist at compass client using the AlterG treadmill. What was so amazing was that I saw Chris Andrews running again. He can normally only transfer and walk a couple of steps.

I decide then that I wanted to embark on an Alternative 3 peaks challenge for people less fortunate than myself to raise £40,000 to purchase an AltG Anti-Gravity Treadmill for Compass a centre that works with those who are managing neurological conditions in the Lothians and surrounding areas.
