Story
** You will be required to donate to a specific charity through this JustGiving page - when you are making a donation, could I please ask you to try and keep funds as equal as possible as one charity is receiving way more donations than the others due to it being at the top of the list? **
I have had a deep love for the game of tennis since I picked up a racket at the age of eight and I will be on court, hitting balls for 24 hours from 4pm on the 28th October to 4pm on the 29th October.
This marathon will be inclusive for people to enjoy tennis as much as I do. I will be splitting the 24 hours into sessions for juniors and adults to come along and play. There will be sessions for advanced players and there will be sessions for beginners. For the advanced sessions, I will be playing matches; for the beginner sessions, I will be feeding balls. The final schedule is yet to be decided, but please keep an eye on my Facebook page (www.facebook.com/events/617039299263013). For those who want to play, they will be asked to make a donation.
There are three charities that will benefit from the marathon; Cancer Research UK, Cerebral Palsy Sport and NHS Charities Together. All these charities are relevant to me and I would like to give a little back for all the amazing work that they continue to do to make people's lives better.
