Story
Last year my wife and I welcomed our son Jaxx into the world prematurely at 24 weeks and 5 days. Despite putting up a strong fight, we sadly lost him 3 weeks later.
In honour of his short time with us, I will be donning my walking boots and climbing the highest single free mountain in the world, Mount Kilimanjaro. With a height of 5895 meters and 49% less available oxygen of that at sea level, accompanied by one dodgy knee, this won’t be an easy challenge for me.
I will be raising money for Sands, a still birth and neonatal death charity who provide vital research and support to anyone affected by baby loss. They do fantastic work and solely rely on donations to survive.
I appreciate it is a tough time economically right now, but any donation helps. Even a quid.
Thank you for reading our story and thank you in advance for your support.
