Story

Not only is Just Water the ultimate detox after an over-indulgent Christmas, but by fundraising for WaterAid you'll be helping to change lives with the gift of clean water.
So, Kirsty & Ralph have bravely ditched the decanter in favour of a detox like no other – abstaining from alcohol, forgoing fizz, cutting out caffeine and drinking Just Water to raise money for international development charity, WaterAid.
Across the world, 771 million people live without clean water close to home. More than one in five of the global population have no decent toilet, and 2.3 billion do not have access to soap and water at home to help protect themselves against the spread of diseases like Covid-19. But with clean water close to home, families can meet their basic needs and stay safe and healthy. When schools have clean water and decent toilets, girls can focus on their learning and reach their potential.
Through its Thirst for Knowledge winter appeal, WaterAid hopes to help transform thousands of lives in Nepal and across the world with clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene. The UK government will match public donations made between 16 November 2021 and 15 February 2022 up to £2 million, helping bring these basic essentials to 28,000 people and 30 schools in the Bardiya district of Nepal.
Before 15 February 2022 the UK government will match your donations up to £2 million, to Thirst for Knowledge appeal, making double the impact.
